During times of emergency Sydney Helicopters is called upon to supply experienced crew and capable aircraft to assist the community.
We are often engaged by the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) to provide aircraft for evacuation, community resupply, deployment of personnel and equipment.
During September, October and November of 2016 we supplied our winch capable helicopter, BK117B2 to the NSW SES Lachlan Region to assist with serving the communities of Forbes, Bedgerabong, Parkes, Goolagong and later Hilston and Deniliquin.
