    How much experience do your pilots have?
    All pilots for Sydney Helicopters are highly experienced in a range of helicopter operations including Charter, Scenic, Powerline inspection, aerial water bombing, aerial photography and film. Furthermore we are quality endorsed by ISO9001 and of our pilots receives extensive company and factory training.
     
    How many people does a helicopter hold? Will it be possible for me to sit in the front seat?
    The number of seats depends on the type of helicopter you will be chartering. We have 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 passenger seat helicopters with varying layouts.  Generally there is 1 passenger seat in the front alongside the pilot, the balance are in the rear. All seats provide wonderful views. In any case seating will determined by weight, which is why your booking agent will always ask the weights of all passengers. This is for optimum weight distribution within the aircraft.

    Should we bring a camera to take pictures?
    You should definitely bring a camera with you. You are free to take as many pictures as you can during your flight.
     
    Do you recommend taking an anti-motion sickness medication?
    Do you recommend taking an anti-motion sickness medication?
    If you are particularly prone to motion sickness an anti-motion sickness medication may be a good idea. Unlike an Aeroplane however, Helicopters slice through any turbulence rather than riding on top of it, thus a smoother flight is experienced. in any case let the pilot know if you are concerned about motion sickness.
     
    Are we guaranteed to see all of the sights mentioned in your tour descriptions?
    The points of interest mentioned in our tour descriptions are highlights of the tour, which we will endeavor to show you depending on the weather. Each tour is unique in that we will endeavour to show you the best scenery while trying to accommodate any of your special requests within the allotted time.
     
    What should I wear?
    You can wear what you like although clothing should be comfortable and dark shirts or tops may be best for photo taking. Bright colored clothing may put a reflective glare on the helicopter windows and reflect in your photos. Dark clothing helps to eliminate the reflection. Our climate control system keeps our helicopters at a comfortable temperature for the entire flight. Hats are not recommended to be worn outside the aircraft as they can fly up into the rotors and damage the aircraft.
     
    How can I hear what others are talking about with the engine running ?
    Sydney Helicopters use Bose Acoustic Noise Canceling Stereo Headsets. Chosen specifically for their quality audio reproduction, they also allow the pilots to narrate throughout the trip.
